86 / BRZ OEM Engine Replacement – Boosted Engineering

Our FA20 Refreshed Engine Package is built in-house in Carrara, utilising all brand-new OEM components that are individually sourced, inspected, and professionally assembled by Boosted Engineering. This approach delivers factory reliability through a premium rebuild process that exceeds the capabilities of a basic replacement engine.

Every refreshed engine includes:

• New OEM FA20 shortblock supplied separately

• New OEM crankshaft

• New OEM bearings (Race King / ACL options available)

• New OEM pistons and connecting rods

• New seals, gaskets, and OCVs throughout

• Full head refresh: cleaned, pressure-tested, resealed

• Professional assembly by our FA-platform specialists

• Optional New timing components, tensioners & guides

All components arrive as individual OEM parts, which are then assembled into a complete engine with precision tolerances, cleanliness standards, and build practices that exceed those of a standard dealership or factory exchange unit.

We also handle full installation at our performance workshop in Carrara, including:

• Engine removal & vehicle inspection

• Complete assembly & installation

• Fluids, filters & QC testing

• Optional BE upgrades while the engine is out

• Recommended tuning support

Installation adds $1,500 for our in house motors or $1,999 for customer supplied/second hand motors

This package is covered by our limited warranty.

The Street Kit is designed for daily-drivable turbo builds with reliable, responsive power delivery. The Race Kit is oriented toward circuit and drag use where higher output and modular servicing are priorities.

The kit is designed for bolt-on installation in a suitably-equipped workshop. Installation is available at our Carrara QLD workshop, or through our trusted partner network in most metropolitan areas.

Approximate installation time — 20 to 30 hours depending on configuration and supporting work.
