86 / BRZ OEM Engine Replacement – Boosted Engineering Overview
Our FA20 Refreshed Engine Package is built in-house in Carrara, utilising all brand-new OEM components that are individually sourced, inspected, and professionally assembled by Boosted Engineering. This approach delivers factory reliability through a premium rebuild process that exceeds the capabilities of a basic replacement engine.
Every refreshed engine includes:
-
New OEM FA20 shortblock supplied separately
-
New OEM crankshaft
-
New OEM bearings (Race King / ACL options available)
-
New OEM pistons and connecting rods
- New seals, gaskets, and OCVs throughout

All components arrive as individual OEM parts, which are then assembled into a complete engine with precision tolerances, cleanliness standards, and build practices that exceed those of a standard dealership or factory exchange unit.
