🔧 Boosted Engineering – Return & Refund Policy
Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.

The item must be in its original packaging.

You must provide proof of purchase.
-
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be issued before any item is sent back.
Items sent back without first requesting and receiving return approval will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
Installed / Used Performance Parts
Due to the nature of high-performance automotive components:

Items that have been installed, modified, altered, or used are not eligible for return.

Performance parts subjected to racing, competition use, improper installation, or use beyond recommended specifications are not eligible for return.

Returns will be refused if the product shows signs of installation, wear, fluid contamination, or damage caused by misuse.
Performance parts are intended for off-road or motorsport use only unless otherwise specified.
Damages & Shipping Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
Any shipping damage, missing items, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and must include:

Clear photos of the product

Clear photos of the packaging (including any damage)

A photo of the shipping label
-
A description of the issue
Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may result in denial of the claim.
We strongly recommend retaining all original packaging until you are satisfied with your order.
Defects & Warranty Claims
If you believe your product is defective:

Contact us before initiating a chargeback or third-party claim.

Provide detailed photos and supporting information.
-
Do not attempt repair, modification, or disassembly without written approval.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and review. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by improper installation, misuse, tuning errors, excessive power levels beyond rated specifications, or normal wear and tear.
International Orders – Duties & Taxes
International shipments are sent under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms unless otherwise stated.

The customer is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, taxes, and clearance charges.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not controlled by Boosted Engineering.

Import duties and customs fees are non-refundable.
Refusal to pay duties or customs charges does not qualify as a valid reason for return or refund.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you receive the correct item is to return the item you have (once approved) and place a new order.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:

Installed or used automotive components
-
Custom or special-order products
-
Sale items
-
Gift cards
-
Hazardous materials or flammable liquids
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.
If approved:

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Chargebacks
We are committed to resolving any issues directly and professionally.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve an issue may delay resolution and may require additional documentation to the payment provider.
We encourage all customers to contact us directly at sales@boostedengineering.com.au before escalating disputes.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.
To exercise this right:

You must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving the goods.

The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.

The item must be returned in its original packaging.

Proof of purchase is required.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.
This right does not apply to:

Custom-made or special-order products

Installed or used performance parts
-
Products that have been modified or altered
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once opened

Digital products or gift cards
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
