Turn the factory 86 / BRZ / GR86 automatic into a gearbox that can handle real power. Our BE Built Auto Packages are developed and built in-house to make the stock auto shift harder, stay cooler and survive serious horsepower, whether you're running a mild turbo kit or a big power build.

Choose your package

Stage 1: rated for around 400HP. For street and track cars with a turbo kit or mild power upgrades.

  • Upgraded valve body for firmer, faster shifts
  • Transmission cooler kit (20 row cooler, HEL Performance 82°C thermostat, AN6 lines and fittings)

Stage 2: rated for around 700HP. For big power builds. Everything in Stage 1, plus:

  • Complete, fully built gearbox, ready to bolt straight in
  • High stall torque converter for faster spool and launches
  • Upgraded clutch packs to hold serious torque

Build time

  • Stage 1: around 1 week
  • Stage 2: around 2 months

Good to know

  • Installation is not included. We recommend having it fitted and tuned by a qualified workshop.
  • Only need the cooling? Our Automatic Transmission Cooler Kit is available on its own.

FAQ

Which stage do I need?
Pick the stage that matches the power you're making, or plan to make. Stage 1 is rated for around 400HP and Stage 2 for around 700HP. If you're close to 400HP or planning to go further, Stage 2 gives you headroom.

Is Stage 2 a complete gearbox?
Yes. Stage 2 is a complete, fully built gearbox ready to bolt straight into your car, so there's no waiting on your own gearbox to be pulled and rebuilt.

Will this fit a manual car?
No. These packages are for the factory automatic gearbox only.

Does Stage 1 include a transmission cooler?
Yes. Both stages include our full cooler kit.

New Zealand: small parts $49, mid-size parts $99, cat-back exhausts $179 and engine short blocks $399. International (DHL, tracked): general parts $150, BMW parts $149.99 to North America and $249.99 elsewhere, turbochargers $275 to the US, Canada and China and $470 elsewhere. Returns
Changed your mind? You have 30 days to return a part for store credit or to swap it for another item. Parts must be unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging, and the return must be approved by us first. Installed or used parts cannot be returned for change of mind. Your store credit balance is shown when you log in to your account, and you can use it at checkout. Faulty or damaged items are covered by our warranty and your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery.
