AMG 45は高いブースト圧を発生させるにもかかわらず、純正ではバイパスバルブが装備されていません。これは、OEM仕様で一般的に採用されているプラスチック製バルブでは、A45の26PSIというブースト圧に耐えられず、早期に破損する可能性があるためと考えられます。その結果、AMG 45モデルでは深刻なコンプレッサーサージが発生します。コンプレッサーサージはA45の高いブースト圧と相まって、ターボチャージャー内部のベアリングにとって致命的な状況を作り出します。そこで、A45、CLA45、GLA45 AMG用のTurbosmart Kompact Shortie ブローオフバルブが登場しました。この高性能なビルレットアルミニウム製バルブは、AMGターボチャージャーのコンプレッサーカバーに直接ボルトオン装着できます。Dual PortとPlumb Backの2種類をご用意しており、Dual Portの再循環と大気開放を50:50に分けるクラシックなブローオフ音、またはPlumb Backの静かでOEMに近い動作のいずれかをお選びいただけます。どちらのタイプも、標準状態のA45で発生するコンプレッサーサージを大幅に低減します。Shortieはビルレット構造を採用し、極めて精密な加工公差によりOリングなしでバルブ本体とピストンの気密性を確保する高性能ピストン設計を採用しているため、AMGターボが発生させるブースト圧にも問題なく対応し、ブーストをさらに上げても漏れがなく極めて高い耐久性を発揮します。A45、CLA45、GLA45 AMG用のVR03 Kompact Shortieキットには、ブーストリファレンスアダプターが付属しており、ブローオフバルブがエンジンの負圧に即座に反応して、電子制御バルブよりも高いレベルの制御を実現します。これは、本来クローズドなAMGシステムにマニホールド圧リファレンスを導入することで可能になり、インテークマニホールドへの加工といった破壊的な手法は一切必要ありません。ブーストリファレンスアダプターには2つの圧力ポートがあり、ブーストゲージなどの別のマニホールド圧作動アクセサリーを装着できます。

Returns
Changed your mind? You have 30 days to return a part for store credit or to swap it for another item. Parts must be unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging, and the return must be approved by us first. Installed or used parts cannot be returned for change of mind. Your store credit balance is shown when you log in to your account, and you can use it at checkout. Faulty or damaged items are covered by our warranty and your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery.
