Fits: Toyota 86 / GT86 (ZN6, 2012–2021), Subaru BRZ (ZC6, 2012–2021), Scion FR-S, Toyota GR86 (ZN8, 2022+) and Subaru BRZ (ZD8, 2022+) – 6-speed manual, FA20 / FA24.

Doesn't fit: automatic models.

The release (throw-out) bearing presses on the clutch diaphragm when you push the pedal. A worn one squeals or chirps with the pedal down, so it should be replaced whenever the clutch is changed.

Do I need a new release bearing with a new clutch?
We recommend it. Re-using an old bearing is the most common cause of noise after a clutch change.

Does it fit the GR86 and 2022+ BRZ?
Yes, it suits both the FA20 and FA24 6-speed manual.

Is it different for a Uniclutch?
No. GSB440 is the release bearing Uniclutch lists for these cars.
